Selecting and Using a Skill

The Skills welcome screen provides a streamlined interface for executing specific sales tasks.

The Skills Layout

When you toggle to Skills mode, you'll see:

  • Large input area at the top for freeform requests

  • Attachment button to add files or URLs

  • Category dropdowns arranged as pill-shaped buttons at the bottom

Browsing Skills by Category

Step 1: Choose a Category

Click any category pill to open its dropdown:

  • Write (blue) - Communication and outreach

  • Build (amber) - Documents and proposals

  • Research (green) - Intelligence and analysis

  • Strategize (purple) - Planning and tactics

  • Respond (orange) - Reactions and replies

  • Lead (cyan) - Meeting preparation

Step 2: Select a Skill

Each dropdown reveals specific skills within that category. Click a skill to start a chat focused on that task.

Example skills in Write:

  • Cold Outreach Email

  • Follow-up Sequence

  • LinkedIn Connection Message

  • Call Script

Example skills in Build:

  • Business Case Document

  • Proposal Draft

  • Mutual Action Plan

  • ROI Calculator

Using the Freeform Input

You can also describe what you need in the large text area:

  1. Type your request (e.g., "Write a follow-up email to a prospect who went silent")

  2. Optionally attach relevant files

  3. Press Enter or click Send

The AI will identify the best skill to match your request and guide you through the workflow.

Attaching Files

Add context to your skill request:

  1. Click the πŸ“Ž attachment icon

  2. Upload a file or paste a URL

  3. The file content informs the skill output

Useful attachments:

  • Previous correspondence for follow-ups

  • Meeting notes for action plans

  • Competitor info for positioning

Starting a Skill Chat

Once you select a skill or submit a freeform request:

  1. A new chat opens with the selected skill

  2. The AI begins the Discovery phase

  3. Answer the clarifying questions

  4. Receive your generated deliverable

Each skill chat is saved in your conversation history like any other chat.
